Scott Matthew Hennig went home to be with his Lord and Savior after a long illness. Scott married the love of his life, Jennifer Maze-Hennig, in Enid, Oklahoma twenty-three years ago. Despite a desire to start a family, the couple never had any children but loved their nieces and nephews whom they spoiled whenever possible.

Scott was a fan of comic books and a collector of Transformers. He and Jennifer both loved dogs and had several cherished pets throughout their marriage.

Survived by his loving wife Jennifer Maze-Hennig, brother Bryan Hennig and wife Chrissy of Chattanooga, Tennessee, sister Jo Price and husband Jake of Alvarado, Texas, brother-in-law James Maze and wife Linda of Marysville, Washington, sister-in-law Debra (Maze) Lamar and Adrian of Ames, Oklahoma, sister-in Law Stacie Maze and Steve Brooks of Oklahoma City, nieces Lana and Savanna Hennig, nephews Calley Lamar, Stephen and wife Stacy Lamar, Matthew and wife Molly Lamar, Jamie Maze and wife Kyla, Taylor (Maze) Stovall and husband Robert, Chelsea and Krisha (Maze) Gore, niece Kristie and nephews Kasey and John Caskey, aunt Deborah (Hennig) Walters and husband Micheal of Ft. Worth, Texas, aunt Sandy Hennig of Ft. Worth, Texas, and six great-nieces and two great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Gary Hennig, mom, Lana (Larson) Hennig Carpenter, grandparents Carl and Faye Hennig and his maternal grandmother Helen (Larson) Swain, father and mother-in-law Rev. Larry and Jeannie (Kincheloe) Maze, and several unborn children due to miscarriage.
