Stephanie Nicole Brown

Stephanie Nicole Brown, 38, passed away on November 22, 2023, in Oklahoma City after facing the challenges of mental health. Born on April 18, 1985, Stephanie was passionate about animals and found great joy in their company. Her heart resonated with the soothing melodies of Christian and country music, echoing the joys and challenges of life. Her love extended to the beauty of the outdoors, where she found peace and connection. Despite her inner battles, Stephanie's love for her daughters remained a constant.

Preceding her in death was her Mother Lisa Jo Brown, Grandparents Walt Brown and Mary Brown. She is survived by her grieving father, Steven Harper Brown, sister Lindsay Jo Merhib, and Lindsay's husband John, Stephanie also leaves behind her greatest treasures: her three beloved daughters, Marleigh, Stevie, and Airelye, grandparents Floyd and Shirley Collins, as well as nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

In the face of her mental health battles, Stephanie found solace in her family and her faith. In John 16:33, Jesus reminds us, "I have told you these things so that in me you may have peace. In this world, you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."

While Stephanie grappled with the complexities of mental health, her courage shone through as she faced life's storms with resilience. In her memory, we recall the comforting words "I Can See Clearly Now" by Johnny Nash, a song that echos the hope Stephanie sought amid her struggles.

  ```
I can see clearly now that the rain is gone
I can see all obstacles in my way
Gone are the dark clouds that had me blind
It's gonna be a bright (bright), bright (bright)
Sunshiny day
```

Stephanie's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. As we remember, Stephanie let us acknowledge the challenges she faced and the impact she had on those around her. May she find eternal peace in the arms of her Savior, and may her story prompt a greater understanding of the complexities of mental health.

A memorial service to celebrate Stephanie's life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests contributions to https://www.greenshoe.org/donate to honor Stephanie's memory and support the ongoing battle against mental health stigmas.
