Thomas Ray Weaver

Thomas Ray Weaver, 91, was born to Alvin Ray Weaver and Ruby Lee Klaus Weaver on July 3, 1935 in Grainola, OK and died peacefully on September 8, 2026 in Oklahoma City, OK.

Tom attended Central High School in Tulsa Oklahoma. After graduation, he enlisted in the US Army. While in the Army, he met the love of his life, Carol Rose Wall. They married on September 22, 1956. After the Army, Tom attended Indiana University where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree with honors in Business and a varsity letter in baseball. He was a member of Beta Gamma Sigma.

His life work included telecommunications consulting and Accounting with Bell & Howell, Alexander Grant, Arthur Young and PR Mallory. He was the President of National Teleproductions in Indianapolis where he produced over 500 local, regional and national TV commercials as well as producing the Johnny Cash show, the first televised Jackson Five concert, multiple sports events and a Bob Hope special from Ford’s Theatre in Washington, D.C. The last 15 years of his career were spent working with his wife Carol building and repairing McDonald playlands.

A lifelong Democrat, Tom had a heart for service, both to his country and his community, serving as the Democratic Precinct Chairman in Indianapolis for a number of years and a School Board member in Buffalo Grove, IL. He sang with the church choir at every church attended. He later served by cooking for Whiz Kids and Meals on Wheels, where he became famous for his Chicken Noodle Soup. He was also famous for his homemade cookies that he provided to the church, neighbors and fire stations across Oklahoma.

He is survived by his wife Carol Rose, sister Bonnie Clark of Tulsa, daughters Zhonda Shaw (Mark) of Indianapolis, Regina Lamoreaux of Bethany, grandchildren Thomas Edward Shaw of Indianapolis, Jacob Daniel Fudge (Katie) of Yukon, Sara Marie Almeida (Kevin) of Claremore, Madeline Grace Fudge of Yukon, and seven great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings Jim Weaver, Colleen Parks and Marvin Dale Weaver.

To quote Tom, “I can only conclude that I am a very happy man. I love my home, I love my family, I love my friends, I love my church, I love my life, I love.”
