Timothy Barrett Brown, 44, passed away on April 4, 2026, in Yukon, Oklahoma. Born on March 24, 1982, in Poughkeepsie, New York, Timothy lived a life marked by creativity, dedication, and a deep love for those around him.
Tim grew up in New York and graduated from John Jay High School in Cross River. He went on to attend West Virginia University in Morgantown, where he furthered his education and began laying the foundation for his diverse and accomplished career. Over the years, Tim excelled in various professional roles. He worked at Long Island Sprinkler Co., where he designed and supervised commercial and residential irrigation systems with precision and care. Later, he transitioned into the financial sector as a broker and financial advisor with Oppenheimer, Inc., and Morgan Wilshire in New York. Timothy also pursued his passion for acting as a SAG movie extra, appearing in The Unbreakable Boy, American Underdog: The Kurt Warner Story, and Tulsa King.
Beyond his professional achievements, Tim found immense joy in life’s simple pleasures. His greatest happiness came from spending time with Diesel, his beloved Vizsla. Together, they shared countless hours playing catch at the dog park—a daily ritual that brought Timothy endless delight. A devoted sports fan, Tim cheered passionately for the Knicks and Mets. He loved rap music and had a unique ability to recite lyrics of an endless array of songs. Tim also enjoyed cooking and exploring electronics, hobbies that reflected his curiosity and creativity.
Timothy is survived by his loving family: his mother Barbara Brown of Chapel Hill, North Carolina; his father Robert Brown of New Paltz, New York; his daughter Novali Hanley of Milton, New York; and his brother Matthew Brown of Park City, Utah. He also leaves behind several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends who cherished him deeply.
Those who knew Tim remember him as a soft-spoken man with kind eyes—a gentle soul, with a humble heart, whose charisma and sense of humor brightened every room he entered. His unwavering love for Diesel was evident to all who met him; their bond was truly special. Tim’s warmth and generosity touched the lives of many, leaving an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
