Troy Dean Marney

Troy Dean Marney, age 42, passed away on January 15th, 2023, with his family by his side. He was born in Enid, OK on April 14th, 1980, to Kenneth Marney and Margie Marney-Patt. Troy is survived by his mother, Margie Marney-Patt (Tom); his sisters, Cherie Young (Joe) and Misty Jernigan (Rob); his brother, Todd Marney (Lisa); and his grandmother, Mary Graves. He is preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Marney. Troy was also a loving Uncle to his nieces and nephews: BJ, Brooklyn, Tyler, and Alexandria Jernigan; Gage and Caleb Young; and Bryce, Ella, and Trevor Marney. From a young age Troy had a passion to act, model, and sing. He loved displaying his talent and participated in his school choir and drama club. He graduated from Enid High in 1999 and later would venture to California in 2002 to chase his dream of being a professional actor. During his time in California, he developed lifelong friends that he carried with him through his life. Eventually, Troy would move back to Oklahoma in 2010 to be closer to his family; where he would grow his bond with his nieces and nephews and assist his mother in taking care of his grandmother. Troy believed the world was his stage and touched many people's lives during his act on earth. Even though he has completed his final act, the impressions he left on many will forever be remembered.
