William Patrick "Bill" Birchall

William (Bill) Patrick Birchall.Bill was born October 24, 1946 in Oklahoma City and died quietly at home surrounded by his loved ones on July 21, 2020.He was a '64 graduate of Putnam City High School and attended Central State College. Bill began his Insurance career with Penn Mutual Life Insurance Company in 1967. Then, in 1984,with fellow entrepreneur and close friend, Jim Hampton, they established Birchall and Hampton. Bill had a great respect and love for their staff, Cindy Smith, Debbie Littlejohn, Jeanie Franklin and Leah-Anne Janway and associate Tom Laster. In 1988, Bill was invited to join the Top Tippers. This extraordinary group of men shared business knowledge and opportunities every week. Some of Bill's most cherished friends and business associates were a part of this dynamic organization.Bill will be remembered for his love of fly fishing, traveling and cars. Also, his quick wit and love of telling stories. He was a loving companion, loyal, honest, and generous. He attended Church of the Servant and was grateful for all the kindness, encouragement and love shown by Rev. Tim Travers during this long journey.Of the charities Bill supported, PIVOT and Yukon Helping Hands held a special place in his heart.The family is grateful for Dr. Pappas and Deb, Dr. Tripathi and his staff, also the people of Interim Health Care for their care and support.Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Laura, son, Brandon; and brother, Sam. He is survived by his beautiful bride, companion and best friend Patti; beloved children, Matt Birchall and Megan Nissen; precious granddaughter, Carmen Nissen; siblings: Michael, Regina, Dan and Charmagne; Aunt Nancy Kalthoff; nieces: Cathie, Stephanie, Ann, Laura daughter Emily and son Jack, Katherine; nephews: Joseph, Andrew and his daughter Clementine, Richard and wife April and their children, Lillian and Dorian.We will be celebrating Bill's life Monday, October 12th at 11:00 a.m.at Church of the Servant Instead of flowers, please consider some of Bill's favorite charities: Pivot or Yukon Helping Hands Due to the coronavirus, masks and social distancing will be required if attending this service and seating will be limited.
