Yong Cha Kiddoo

Yong Cha Kiddoo, of Edmond, Oklahoma, passed away on May 13, 2026, at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City. She was born in Korea on November 13, 1945, to Kim Tea Sup and An Bong Nyu.

In 1971, Yong Cha immigrated to the United States, beginning a new chapter marked by courage, resilience, and hope. That same year, on May 18, she married the love of her life, Tom Kiddoo, in Grove, Oklahoma. Together they built a life rooted in devotion, hard work, and deep affection.

Standing just five feet tall, Yong Cha was beautiful, clever, and remarkably strong for her size. She was never afraid of work and approached every task with determination and grace. She loved traveling, spending time with her family, and taking peaceful rides through the countryside. Her presence was steady and warm, and she carried a quiet strength that touched everyone who knew her.

Yong Cha is survived by her husband of 55 years, Tom, of the home; their son Timothy Lee Kiddoo, daughter‑in‑law Andrea Kiddoo, and grandson Timothy Robert Kiddoo, all of Edmond, Oklahoma; her sisters Neung Sook Cho and husband Kyu Man of Manassas, Virginia, and Sun Hee Pak and husband Chong Sol of Lewisville, Texas; sisters‑in‑law Judy Wiltse of Independence, Kansas, and Nancy Harris of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; and numerous nieces, nephews, grand‑nieces, grand‑nephews, great-grand-nieces and great-grand-nephews.

Her family will forever remember her strength, her kindness, and the love she gave so freely.
